Elissa Henry portrait

Elissa’s passion started in 2001 after a pivotal personal experience. Her father was a victim of negligent driving and forced into a hospital bed for months. During the entire time, Elissa visited her father daily after school and accompanied him for his physical therapy sessions. Her interest and involvement in her father’s case would grow, and she would go on to attend every appointment with his attorney.

Throughout the entire experience, Elissa learned first-hand how devastating an accident could be to a person’s physical and emotional well-being. Although the case finally came to a close and a settlement package granted, Elissa understood that the damage done to her father could not be quantified nor undone. She made it her life mission to advocate and champion for people in similar circumstances.

Her personal experience allows her to understand and empathize with her clients’ circumstances. She takes her time to listen and develop action plans that prioritize her clients’ interests and peace. She is a dedicated attorney committed to going the extra mile for her clients. Elissa is a graduate of New York University. She has worked as a late-night prosecution intern at the Early Case Assessment Bureau of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. The experience helped her gain the grit, bravery, and tenacity needed for every case.

Committed to her craft, Elissa relocated to Austin, Texas, where she worked as a case manager at a law firm and gained extensive experience and knowledge in transactional law. She later attended Baylor Law School, where she dedicated her time and resources to serving the community. She also served as an associate editor for the Baylor Law Review.

Elissa specializes in pedestrian and motor vehicle collisions, probate matters, and family-based immigration cases. Her professionalism and exceptional leadership skills give her an extensive edge and make her well suited to fit her client’s legal needs. Her bilingualism in English and Spanish allows her to serve a larger audience and diversify her services. Elissa appreciates the trust and confidence that her clients place in her and strives to empathically guide them through some of the most difficult times of their lives. Her primary goal is heling her clients maintain  integrity and stability even when the odds are against them. She brings a personal touch to the legal process, working to restore normalcy and sense of justice to her clients’ lives.

On her down time, Elissa enjoys birdwatching with her family and running around with her dogs. Elissa is an avid tennis fan—although she will tell you she prefers to play it than watch it—and she never passes on binge-watching the latest legal drama. Elissa has been a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sister of Central Texas for over 10 years.
